Educational Qualification
For Sr. Solution Architect: Master's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / MCA OR Engineering degree in Computer Science / IT / Electronics & Telecom, with 20+ years of relevant experience including at least 5 years as a solution architect.
For Solution Architect: Master's degree in Computer Science / MCA / IT OR Engineering degree in CS / IT / Electronics, with 14+ years of relevant experience in Data Centre, IT, and SOC handling Government/PSU Data Centre.
Salary
Selected candidates will receive an attractive cost-to-company (CTC) package. Sr. Solution Architect will get ₹3,65,000/- per month CTC, while Solution Architect will get ₹3,05,000/- per month CTC. These are among the highest salary packages for PSU government jobs in 2026.
Age Limit
Minimum age: 24 years. Maximum age: 50 years as on the cut-off date (30 April 2026). Age relaxation for OBC candidates: 3 years. The maximum age after relaxation is 55 years.
Selection Process
The RailTel selection process 2026 consists of two stages: 1) Walk-in Interview, where candidates will be assessed on their technical expertise, experience, and domain knowledge. 2) Medical examination to ensure fitness as per PSU standards. No written exam will be conducted.
