Educational Qualification
Candidates must have completed B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (Engineering) or 5-year Integrated M.Tech with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized university. A valid GATE 2024, 2025, or 2026 score in the relevant discipline is mandatory. Final year students can also apply, provided they meet the eligibility criteria before 30 November 2026.
Salary
During training, candidates will receive a stipend of Rs. 74,000/- per month along with a one-time book allowance of Rs. 30,000/-. After successful training, candidates will be appointed as Scientific Officer/C with a starting basic pay of Rs. 56,100/- plus allowances such as DA, HRA, transport allowance, medical benefits, and more.
Age Limit
Maximum age limit is 26 years as on 30 April 2026 for General/EWS candidates. Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules: OBC – 3 years, SC/ST – 5 years, PwBD – up to 10 years.
Selection Process
The selection process includes shortlisting based on GATE scores followed by a Personal Interview. Final selection is based purely on interview performance and medical fitness. Candidates must also meet minimum qualifying marks in the interview.
