South Central Railway Recruitment 2024 Selection Process

• Selection of candidates is as per the Railway Board guidelines of RBE 120/2015, dated 06.10.2015. 
• Selection of the eligible candidates for imparting training under the Apprentice Act, 1961 will be based on the merit list which would be prepared taking the average of the percentage marks obtained by the candidates in both 10th Class/matriculation [with minimum 50% (aggregate) marks] and ITI examination giving equal weightage to both. 
• In case of two candidates having the same marks, the candidate with older age shall be preferred. In case the dates of birth are also same, then the candidate who passed matriculation/10th Class exam earlier shall be considered.

sports persons in Group ‘C’ posts in Grade Pay ₹2000/1900 (Level 3/2 in 7th CPC) in Pay Band of ₹5200-20200 and 40 posts in Group ‘D’ posts in Pay Pay ₹1800/- (Level -1 in 7th CPC) in Pay Band of ₹5200-20200 against Sports Quota through Open Advertisement for the year 2024-25 in South Central Railway.

RRC South Central Railway Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

i. Selection will be based upon Document Verification, performance in Sports Trials and assessment of sports achievement & educational qualification etc. Selection will be conducted by South Central Railway, Headquarters, Secunderabad for vacancies of Head Quarter Quota and by respective Division for vacancies of Divisions Quota. 

ii. After scrutiny of applications by Scrutiny Committee short-listed eligible candidates will be called for Document Verification & Trial of sports performance. Candidates who will found suitable in Document Verification by Document Verification Committee, Trials of those candidates will be conducted by Trial Committee. Trial Committee conduct trial to assess their sports performance and suitability for Railway/Unit team as well as Indian Railways team. Trial Committee shall give its recommendation in terms of either FIT or NOT FIT, for consideration.
