Salary / Pay Scale / Stipend:
During the training period Dredge Cadets will be paid stipend of Rs.15000/- per month
plus victualling allowance @Rs.600 per day , Trainee Marine Engineers will be paid stipend
of Rs.25000/- per month plus victualling allowance @600 per day,
Near Coastal Voyage (Trainees) will be paid stipend of Rs 10,000/- per month plus
victualling allowance @405 per day and Trainee Electrical Officer will be paid stipend of
Rs.25000/- plus victualling allowance @Rs.600 per day. Candidates selected as Dredge
Cadets, Trainee Marine Engineers and Trainee Electrical Officers will have to execute a
Bank guarantee of three lakhs or the same amount to be deposited with DCI to serve DCI
for a period of five years after completion of requisite training period and obtaining CoC

- The selection is based on the percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed qualification mentioned above for NCV (Trainees).
- The selection is based on the percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed qualification mentioned above and performance in Interview for Dredge Cadets, Trainee Marine Engineers and TELOs.
- Filling up of vacancies is solely at the discretion of the Management based on suitability of candidates and no claim will arise for appointment, if vacancies are not filled due to un-suitability/insufficient number of candidates.
- The candidature of the applicant would be provisional and subject to subsequent verification of certificates/testimonials
