• Informatics

✅The degree must be from a recognized university or institution established under the Central or State Act or UGC Act.

Age Limit :As on 18/03/2025

✅Applicants Must Be No Older (Maximum Age) Than ➡ 30 Years
✅Age Relaxation is Applicable as Per Rules

Salary / Pay Scale / Stipend:

Level-6 (Rs. 35,400 - Rs. 1,12,400)

NIELIT Recruitment 2025 Selection Process

✅The selection process for the post of Scientific Assistant will be based on a Written Examination only. The details of the examination are as follows:

✅Scheme of Written Examination

➡Type of Exam: Objective Type (OMR-based)

➡Duration: 3 hours

➡Total Questions: 120 (65% Technical Area + 35% Generic Area)

➡Marking Scheme:

•    Each question carries 1 mark.
•    There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

✅Cut-off Marks:

•     General/EWS: 50%
•    OBC: 40%
•    SC/ST/PwBD: 30%

✅Generic Area: Logical Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning, Quantitative and Qualitative Abilities, General Awareness, and Aptitude.

✅Merit List

➡The merit list will be prepared stream-wise (EC/CS/IT), and vacancies will be filled accordingly.

➡In case of a tie, the older candidate (based on date of birth) will be placed higher in the merit list
