The research focuses on "Spatial Mapping and Modelling of Soil and Groundwater Pollution by Nitrate from Agricultural Fields in the Lower Ganga Delta of West Bengal." Position: Project Associate-I
Location: Aliah University, Kolkata, West Bengal
Fellowship: ₹31,000 per month (Consolidated)

Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications
First-class M.A./M.Sc. in Geography/Geology/Remote Sensing/Geoinformatics/Chemistry/Agricultural Sciences or related disciplines from a recognized university.
Age Limit: Maximum 35 years as of the application deadline.
Desirable Qualifications
PhD/UGCNET/CSIRNET/SET qualification in the relevant field.
Proficiency in GIS software, programming, and English language.
Experience in soil and groundwater nitrate measurement is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in fieldwork, data collection, and processing related to soil and groundwater nitrate measurement.
Handle GIS software and programming for spatial analysis.
Collaborate in research activities and project documentation.
Ensure timely completion of project deliverables.
Duration & Fellowship
Initial Tenure: 1 year (extendable based on performance and funding availability).
Fellowship: ₹31,000 per month (consolidated).
