🏛️ CSIR-NGRI Recruitment 2025 – Overview

The CSIR-National Geophysical Research Institute (CSIR-NGRI), Hyderabad, under the Ministry of Science & Technology, has released Advt. No. 4/2025 for recruitment to the following posts:

✅ Junior Secretariat Assistant (General) – 01 Vacancy (EWS)
✅ Junior Stenographer – 03 Vacancies (UR, including 1 Ex-Serviceman)

🎓 Educational Qualification & Skills Required

1. Junior Secretariat Assistant (General)

• Qualification: 10+2/XII or equivalent.

• Skill Required: Typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on a computer.

• Job Role: General administrative & office assistance.

2. Junior Stenographer

• Qualification: 10+2/XII or equivalent.

• Skill Required: 80 w.p.m. stenography with transcription (50 mins for English / 65 mins for Hindi).

• Job Role: Stenographic & secretarial support.

♿ PwBD Eligibility: Both posts are suitable for candidates with 40% or more disability (blindness, low vision, hearing impairment, locomotor disability, autism, etc.).

📝 Selection Process

For Junior Secretariat Assistant:

• Typing Test (Qualifying)

• Written Exam (OMR/CBT Based)

  • Paper-I: Mental Ability Test (100 Qs – 200 Marks, No negative marking)

  • Paper-II: General Awareness & English (100 Qs – 300 Marks, -1 for wrong answers)

• Final Merit: Based on Paper-II (Typing test must be qualified).

For Junior Stenographer:

• Stenography Test (Qualifying)

• Written Exam (OMR/CBT Based)

  • General Intelligence & Reasoning (50 Qs – 50 Marks)

  • General Awareness (50 Qs – 50 Marks)

  • English Language & Comprehension (100 Qs – 100 Marks)

• Final Merit: Based on written test.

💰 Application Fee

• General/OBC/EWS: ₹500/- (via SBI Collect)

• SC/ST/PwBD/Women/Ex-Servicemen: Exempted
