DRDO RAC Recruitment 2025 – Key Details
1. Available Positions & Pay Scale
The recruitment offers various positions across different engineering and scientific disciplines with competitive pay as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC):
Scientist F: One vacancy is available in the fields of Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or Civil Engineering. The post is at Level 13A, with a basic pay of ₹1,31,100.
Scientist E: Four vacancies are open for candidates from Naval, Marine, Civil, Electrical, Electronics, or Metallurgy backgrounds. This position is at Level 13, with a basic pay of ₹1,23,100.
Scientist D: Four positions are available in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering disciplines. The post falls under Level 12, with a basic pay of ₹78,800.
Scientist C: A total of twelve vacancies are available for candidates with expertise in Aerospace, Electronics, or Nuclear Medicine. The position is at Level 11, with a basic pay of ₹67,700.
2. Eligibility Criteria
A. Educational Qualification
Essential:
First Class Bachelor’s Degree in relevant engineering disciplines (Naval Architecture, Marine, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Chemical, Aeronautical, etc.).
For Medical Posts: MD/DNB in Nuclear Medicine.
B. Experience Required
