The Office of the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), Hajin, under the Government of Jammu & Kashmir, has announced 17 vacancies for Anganwadi Workers (AWW/Sangini) and Helpers (AWH/Sahayika). This recruitment is part of Phase III of the POSHAN Project. Eligible women candidates from Hajin can apply within 14 days from the publication date (May 5, 2025).

Eligibility Criteria
For Anganwadi Worker (AWW)
Age: 18-37 years (as of January 1, 2025).
Education: 10+2 pass (minimum), Graduation (maximum).
Residency: Must be a resident of the electoral ward where the AWC is located.
Domicile: Must be a J&K domicile holder.
Selection: Merit-based (10+2 marks). Higher age preferred in case of a tie.
For Anganwadi Helper (AWH)
Age: 18-37 years.
Education: Matriculation (Class 10) pass (8th pass considered if no matriculate available).
Residency: Must belong to the same ward as the AWC.
Preference: Destitute/needy married women given priority.
Salary & Job Details
Honorarium-based (exact amount not specified; as per J&K Govt. norms).
Work Location: Assigned Anganwadi Centre (AWC) in Hajin.
Job Role:
AWW: Childcare, nutrition, preschool education, and community health awareness.
AWH: Assisting AWW in daily operations.
