The Indian Navy has announced 60 vacancies for Permanent Commission in Technical Branches under the 10+2 B.Tech Cadet Entry Scheme.
- Mechanical Engineering – 30 Posts
- Electronics & Communication Engineering – 30 Posts
- Maximum 08 Vacancies Reserved for Women Candidates
- 07 candidates from Mechanical Engineering stream may be allotted Naval Architecture & Shipbuilding at NCW Kochi based on merit.
Educational Qualification and Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
- Minimum 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
- Minimum 50% marks in English in either Class 10 or Class 12.
- Candidates must have appeared for JEE Main 2026 (B.E./B.Tech).
- Shortlisting for SSB interview will be based on JEE Main 2026 Common Rank List (CRL).
Nationality and Marital Status
- Only unmarried men and women are eligible.
- Candidates must satisfy nationality conditions prescribed by the Government of India.
