Educational Qualification
Eligibility criteria vary by post. All qualifications are as on the cut-off date 30.04.2026. Only full-time regular courses are accepted.
- Senior Manager & Engineer posts: B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in relevant discipline with minimum 65% marks.
- Manager (HR): MBA (HR) / PG Diploma in HR / Master in Social Work (HR) with 65% marks.
- Jr. Draftsman Gr I & II: 3-year Diploma in relevant engineering discipline (Chemical/Mechanical/Civil) with minimum 65% marks.
- Junior Assistant Grade-III (HR): Full-time BBA with 60% marks. PG Diploma in HR/IR preferred.
- Junior Assistant Grade-III (Hospitality): Full-time Graduate in Hotel Management / Hospitality Administration with 60% marks.
Salary
Selected candidates receive attractive PSU pay scales and approximate annual CTC as follows:

Age Limit
Upper age limits vary by post (as on 30.04.2026) before applying relaxation:
- Senior Manager: 40 years
- Manager (HR): 36 years
- Engineer posts: 28 years
- Jr. Draftsman & Junior Assistant posts: 30 years
Age Relaxation (for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-Servicemen):

- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- PwD (General): additional 10 years

Selection Process
EIL follows a two-track selection process depending on the post:
- For Senior Manager, Manager, and Engineer posts: Personal Interview (venue: New Delhi/Gurugram or via Video Conferencing).
- For Jr. Draftsman and Junior Assistant posts: Skill Test (venue intimated to shortlisted candidates).
Shortlisting is based on marks percentage and relevance of experience. Only shortlisted candidates are notified via email. Outstation candidates called for interview/skill test are eligible for travel allowance (rail fare by shortest route – IInd AC for Senior Manager/Manager, III AC for Engineer, IInd Sleeper for Jr. Draftsman & Junior Assistant).
