KVIC Young Professional Eligibility: Educational Qualification and Age Limit
Candidates must satisfy the educational qualification prescribed for the relevant Young Professional discipline. Only full-time regular courses are to be considered, and the qualifications must be obtained from a UGC-recognized Indian University, a UGC-recognized Indian Deemed University or through an AICTE-approved course, as applicable.
The essential qualification for all disciplines is a Postgraduate degree in a relevant field from a recognized University/Institution. Desirable qualifications vary by discipline and zone. For Accounts, desirable qualifications include CA / CA (Inter) / ICWA (Inter) / M.Com / M.Sc in Accounting or Finance / MBA Finance. For Khadi, a Postgraduate Degree in Textile Engineering / Textile Technology / Fashion Technology / Textile Chemistry is desirable. For Legal, a Postgraduate Degree in Law is desirable. For Village Industries, M.Tech / M.Sc / Master's in Rural Development is desirable.
Where a CGPA, OGPA or letter grade has been awarded instead of a percentage, candidates must indicate the equivalent percentage according to the conversion norms of the University or Institute and produce proof of the conversion formula when required for document verification. Internship training is not to be treated as work experience. Only direct work experience, including fixed-term employment in an organization, will be considered as work experience.
