- Mechanical Engineering: 50 seats
- Electrical and Electronics Engineering: 30 seats
- Computer Science and Engineering / IT: 7 seats
- Civil Engineering: 5 seats
- Automobile Engineering: 18 seats
Total Seats: 110
Monthly Stipend: INR 9,000
Category – II: Diploma (Technician) Apprentices (Engineering/Technology)
- Mechanical Engineering: 50 seats
- Electrical and Electronics Engineering: 30 seats

Eligibility Criteria
Category – I: Graduate Apprentices
A Degree in Engineering or Technology (Full time) granted by a Statutory University or Institution empowered by an Act of Parliament in relevant discipline.
Category – II: Diploma (Technician) Apprentices
A Diploma in Engineering or Technology (Full time) granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education or University in relevant discipline.
Category – III: Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentices
A Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce/Humanities such as BA/BSc/BCom/BBA/BBM/BCA etc., (Regular – Full time) granted by a Statutory University/Deemed University.
Important Dates
- Online Application Start Date: 17th February 2025
- Last Date for Enrolling in NATS Portal: 17th March 2025
- Declaration of Shortlisted Candidates: 25th March 2025
- Certificate Verification: 14th April 2025 to 17th April 2025 (Tentative)
How to Apply for HVF Avadi Apprenticeship 2025
- Visit the official NATS portal: https://nats.education.gov.in.
- Register or login using your credentials.
- Complete the application form and generate a unique Enrollment Number.
- Search for "HEAVY VEHICLES FACTORY" under "Apply against advertised vacancies" and click "Apply".
- Upload the required documents, including the Provisional Certificate or Consolidated Mark Sheet.
- Candidates must provide the percentage of marks in the application form. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
- No TA/DA or boarding/lodging expenses will be provided for certificate verification.
- Completion of the apprenticeship does not guarantee employment at HVF Avadi.
