Educational Qualification
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology or Master’s Degree in Science, Computer Applications, Engineering, or related fields from a recognized university. Accepted disciplines include Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Mathematics, Statistics, and more. Minimum experience required: 4 years for Scientist-C and 8 years for Scientist-D.
Salary
Scientist-C: Pay Level 11 with salary ranging from Rs. 67,700 to Rs. 2,08,700 per month.
Scientist-D: Pay Level 12 with salary ranging from Rs. 78,800 to Rs. 2,09,200 per month along with government allowances.
Age Limit
Scientist-C: Maximum 35 years
Scientist-D: Maximum 40 years
Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per government rules.
Selection Process
The selection process consists of three stages:
Stage 1: Screening Test (Online MCQ based, qualifying in nature)
Stage 2: Evaluation of Academic Records
Stage 3: Personal Interview
Final selection will be based on marks obtained in academic evaluation and interview. Document verification is mandatory before final selection.
